Welcome Friends
We
hope this web page will be a place of encouragement and discovery for you
and your friends. It’s meant to be.
We believe as you do that Family Matters, and whether your
first marriage and family are intact, or whether you are in a step-family or in a family with
special needs or a single parent, or divorcing,
chances are you find yourself stretched and challenged beyond your limits
and/or your knowledge from time to time. At least that’s the experience
for many of us.
Over the years we’ve gathered some great resources
and wisdom from friends, pastors and psychologists and from seminars and
books as well as our own experiences that can give perspective and direction
during those stretching times that we all face. Some of the ideas may be
fresh and new to you while others may be reminders of values or principles
that you hold dear. Some may offer you hope and encouragement in a new way
at a difficult time. Others may motivate you, or warn you, lift you up, or
give you the courage you need. Lives and relationships are complex these
days. It is knowledge and perspective that can go a long way in helping us
understand and be committed to the work of love that our families deserve
during the best of times and the worst of times.
